Lisa Devries graduated from UWO with a master's in English Lit and went on to several career stints involving proper word usage, punctuation and spelling, including two years as a lexicographer with Oxford University Press. Currently, she works as a proofreader/editor in Toronto, moonlighting in illustration and graphic design.
